Friendly neighborhood self-confessed laconophilia, whose armor suits him, but it can not hide that mark (Nothing ever will), who was prepared the very moment that he let his arrow fly, that’ll slay anything that's evil (that's his deal), who will never die (just go Missing In Action), who's desperate to regain his honor, who has the innate ability to be overlooked and ignored, who hides a bitter heart under a veneer of lovable idiot, and who knows deep down that Who I am is not who I want to be...

I've Cadet been used as the base model for 4 Marvel Sketch Cards, 1 Topps Star Wars Galaxies trading card, a Star Wars Insider cover image, and a T-Shirt at Hot Topic, and I'm still the most overlooked and ignored person you will ever meet.

Boba Fett unmasked.

The fact that TheDentedHelmet.com got together and made Jeremy Bulloch his own complete Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett costume, and that Mr. Bullouch then went and joined the 501st with it and occasionally troops with the United Kingdom Garrison is still really cool to me.

Ladies man

I know Goose and many others love this scene, but I truthfully always disliked it.  I was once asked to recreate this scene for a photo shoot and felt uncomfortable the whole time because it just feels completely un-Boba to me.
This isn’t Boba Fett.  Boba doesn’t flirt.  Boba doesn’t give a shit about you.  His dad is dead, and he’s spent the rest of his life trying to live up to a ghost.  Every time he looks in a mirror with out his bucket on, alone in Slave 1, his father’s ship, he sees the face of a dead man staring back at him, reminding him constantly of the legacy, Jaster’s Legacy, that he has to live up to.  He tried getting married and having a kid once (if you’re super into the EU) and it didn’t work.  It got in the way, it distracted him and he couldn’t live a “normal life.”  It wasn’t for him.  He retreated back in trying to live up to his father, and that’s what he’s done ever since.
For me, Boba Fett is when Jabba’s guards throw a half naked Leia into his room at Jabba’s palace to “entertain him,” Boba throws a bed sheet at her and tells her to “Cover yourself,” and then proceeds to rip into her about how Han Solo isn’t a “good man” and about the flaws in the Rebellion and the holes in their self-professed moral superiority. (Tales of Jabba’s Palace)
Boba holds himself to a very strict moral code.  He’s cold and callous, but not without honor.  Life made him hard and he has made his helmet his very face.
This is Boba:
“Everyone dies. It is the final and only ever lasting justice. Evil exists; it is intelligence in the service of entropy. When the side of a mountain slides to kill a village, this is not evil, for evil requires intent. Should a sentient being cause that landslide, there is evil; and requires justice as a consequence, so that civilization can exist. There is no greater good than justice; and only if law serves justice is it a good law. It is said correctly that law exists not for the just but for the unjust, for the just carry the law in their hearts, and do not need to call it from afar. I bow to no one and give service only for cause.”

I’m gonna be Boba Fett for the Episode I premier now.
Not that I’ll actually see the movie.  Unless it’s free.  And I can listen to the RiffTrax on my iPod.

“Catch, Dad!”
Some people thought yesterday’s picture of Tony and I was too sad, so, here you guys go.  This is the “Happy” version of that picture!
